Oaty Collective (formerly The Oaty Shop) was established in 2021 by Vivian, an Asian-Canadian creative with a passion for design.

Vivian fell in love with decorating her own new space. She curated a special collection of unique home decor and furnishings for herself, but immediately felt that this could be a service for those who don't have the desire to search for themselves. Thus, Oaty Collective was born.

The name 'Oaty' comes from the abbreviation of the word 'overtime' (OT). Working a nine to five, Vivian balances Oaty Collective in her free time as a hobby and passion project.
